Who is buying APRN??

Discussion in 'Stocks' started by Humble Investor, Jul 18, 2017.

  1. APRN reported Q2 results this morning. It was far worse than I expected. Revenue growth has decelerated substantially from 42% in Q1 to 18%. They are on track for $150 million in losses for this year. They will have to raise equity in the next 12-18 months.

  2. Beautiful Day, APRN down almost 20%. They will run out of cash in less than 4 quarters. Still short.

You need to take an anger/ego management class. First I thought you only bark at me but now I see I was wrong :confused:o_O

quite a simple, tidy, organised chart.
You don't normally see such a nice looking presentable downtrend chart.

there was a signal to short on ~ 26 Aug (after long red candle) at about 6.80.
this signal is sooo obvious, sooo clear and is simply out of textbook.

Can simply take profit now at 3.80, ie massive 80% profit in just 2 months.

I guess they are making blue color aprons. business must be really bad.

Fee for shorting this stock is 17.33% as of today (in IB). That means that if you make 17.33% a year, you would be flat. It will be delisted eventually. What a stupid idea it was.

not advisable to short now because there is very little meat left; risk is higher and reward is lower.

Best time to short was ~ 26 Aug ie 2 months ago.

but then sure got people thinking price is low and would go and buy thinking it is cheap.

  8. Seems like APRN is going to zero and will delist within the next 24 months. Despite that risk/reward has changed and as a result I covered today.
