Who here *doesn't* believe that Obama is doomed?

  1. Should be easy money for you, given your certainty.

Make sure and bet everything and all your relatives have, and mortgage the entire future on this certainty that Obama will lose, okay?

  2. Don't have to. If he wins, he'll just take it anyway.

Let me ask you, when you get a setup, do you put all your money in it, your relatives, etc.???

I gave you an opinion. I thought it was well thought out. If you think about it, the polls would lean his way. 141 days to go. There's plenty of time. And it's a lot easier to talk to a pollster then to drag your ass out and vote.

  3. Certainty is the drug of choice of fools...

Setups are speculative, not the type of certainty you spoke of...unless perhaps you are also a yahoo style stock message board poster.

So much can happen between now and November...I am not invalidating your points, but come the first Tuesday in November people will likely look at the price of gas, their job status, the ability to buy food, possible terrorist acts, what happened in the presidential debates in September.

Look, I can see the value in shorting Obama after a strong run up with a mental trailing stop, but pronouncements of who is definitely going to win in November is absurd.

If I look at the polling of Bush vs. Gore before 2000 election, and Bush vs. Kerry in 2004 election, and look to see if the people who strongly funded Bush in 2000 and 2004 are donating to McCain...then I just don't see a close race.

Remember, all Obama has to do is win the states Gore and Kerry won in 2004 and 2005 plus Ohio.

    That is very doable...

Oh and if you are so fearful of Obama "taking" away your money...then you could move.

Just think, Obamaland....love it or leave it.

    :D :D :D

  5. Honestly I doubt it. Even a racist prick like me has voted for a dozen or so blacks (including Keyes over Obama in the Illinois election).

I would vote for a conservative black over a liberal white in any and all cases. Democrats may TALK racist (many of us do) but it doesn't mean they'll vote against their self interest.

Even Mexican's who LOATHE blacks will vote si' to expanded entitlements.

  6. Take it from me Fellas, Obama will not even come close to winning this election. There is no way in hell this country is ready for a black dude. Collin Powell would fare better in the general. John Wayne McCain will get the replublican vote and nearly all of the Reagen Dems., It will be a Landslide for McCain.

  7. Obama is being presented by the media as nothing short of the second coming of JFK. Any negatives - he's teflon.

The republicans have been caught off guard by the groundswell of change that not only deep-sixed Romney & Giuliani but caused Huckabee to be a potential early contender. The american public have simply decided they are tired of eight years of fear-mongering and now it has come back to bite the republicans in the rear.

When an inexperienced candidate fielded by powerful interests became a real and bonafide challenge to Clinton, only too late did the republicans realize that it was no longer business as usual, and pulled out McCain from the closet to meet Obama as their 'agent of change'.

Obama will win by a landslide, even if it is against many people's interest to vote for him. The fatigue factor has become so severe, that anything but the status quo is felt to be better.

  8. Well done post and I strongly agree. Hopefully something dramatic precludes Obama being on the ticket come November.

  9. I think it will be very close. Obama has great appeal to many young people who before didn't vote, but now are in love with his way of speaking peacefully. And his youth appeals to young people. They look no futher than his hypnotizing speeches. Obama also seems to appeal to older people who once identified with 1960's movement.
I will not vote for Obama because he seems to be naive to the real threat of our enemys. To me it seems he believes just talking things out with countrys who do not like US will keep peace. He is naive, and too far to the left for me.
