Also, fwiw, the past 2 days were pretty solid accumulation days. That might take a minute to burn off. Let’s see how supply comes in.
I'm long TLRY and other cannabis stocks, plus silver etc... sold my GME ah 82 for a win ...... nice surprise... hmm too bad I wasn't patient, it ran much further oh well
%% My SQQQ is down >4% last i looked\ but 4th week of FEB tends to be weak week. Good thing i took profits on qqq, SH.[qqq was daytrade this week/seldom do that] Stock Trader Almanac [Hirsch] notes last day of FEB tends to be weak\ down. Bought some QQQ to help my sqqq+ may not carry sqqq over week end ; but most likely hold spxs or sds or both into monday/not a prediction. Good thing i traded inverse ETFs as a % of my long ETFS profits........................................................................................................
SQQQ, SDS, SPXS,SPXU, qqq, looking good; sell sds @ market11.5710. I dont think i will have time to take profits on spx [i means spxs today/edit]. IF i had known IBUY was going to drop that much i would have waited a bit to buy some more/LOL. 1;55 cst
And... supply came in. the next month/month and a half, I expect volatility and a return to about SPX 3600, maybe 3550. VIX not to exceed 40. Maybe it will, but I would go flat then. This is a sector rotation out of growth and into value. Home Depot is the new Apple. Traders will fight this rotation tooth and nail. The good news is, that once done, everything goes up again. Traders will then still look perplexed as to why value is exceeding growth as they haven’t known anything different their whole lives (not since 1997). Performance will suffer, because of stubbornness to adapt. The markets are showing a change of character. You don’t personally influence the market, so regardless of what you think is right, don’t fight what is happening. Right and your macro stuff... that’s all cute. But if you don’t follow the money, you’re certainly going to have a hard time frontrunning, which is what we are all trying to do. Happy trading.
%% Growth beats value so much, for so long/many prefer growth + cash + growth. I almost bought some DOW derivatives but that value stuff like dow tend to get cheaper + cheaper =+cheaper.............................................................................................[Low PE tends to go low, go lower, go lower\not a prediction.........................................................].
