I know Fidelity offers some of the index ETFs trading for free at its brokerage. Who else offers the same? Anyone offers free leveraged ETF trading?
If you mean commission-free -- Schwab lets you trade their Schwab ETFs commission-free, with no minimum holding period. Here are some I had from notes a while back: SCHF SCHC SCHE SCHZ SCHP SCHO SCHR SCHB SCHX SCHG SCHV SCHD SCHM SCHA SCHH Etrade also offers around 30 I think from different sources, but they charge the commission if held less than thirty days.
So Fidelity is still the best brokers for ETF? 65 IShare ETFs, that is most we'll need. Wish they offered leveraged ETFs commissions free.
I think interactivebrokers still offers their factorshares and global-x etfs. http://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/index.php?f=commission&p=stocks2
Vanguard offers many ETF's with no trading fee, but not leveraged. I don't know of any brokerage that offers leveraged ETF's. TDameritrade offers free trading on over 100 ETF's but again, no leveraged products.
Fwiw, factorshares are 2x levered spreads. Good point about TDA, but iirc they impose a minimum holding period of ~30days.
