I wonder how your mothership MSDNC will fare next year. They are already circling the toilet bowl bigtime. But a big part of their remaining viewership comes from Rachel MadCow who is/has left her anchor/host slot to do some sideline productions. In addition, most of their themes are about taking shots at Trump. That shtick is wearing off for all the lefty networks and the demtards in general. I mean they will still do it and double down but that is why they are failing- unable to adapt. Speculation has been that Bezos would do some bottomfeeding and pick CNN up in the bargain bin and try to put some bondo and duct tape on it. That seems less likely now that the Washington Post is in freefall. But who knows, guys like Bezos are not concerned with profit and loss on their side toys.
You won't hear on Fox how this lot is going to cost Fox Billions....... ‘That’s the ballgame’: Journalist reports ‘court says Fox knew exactly what it was doing when it defamed Dominion’ The $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox News is moving forward and the conservative cable giant may be in big trouble. "The court says Fox knew exactly what it was doing when it defamed Dominion," Bloomberg News columnist Tim O'Brien says, pointing to the outlet's article. "The court is describing clear evidence of malice. And that’s the ballgame in lawsuits like this." Bloomberg News reports "Fox News probably had enough information after the 2020 presidential election to know a conspiracy theory claiming Dominion Voting Systems Inc. rigged the contest was false, a judge said in denying the network’s request to dismiss a defamation lawsuit." The article goes on to note that Delaware state court Judge Eric M. Davis wrote: “Fox possessed countervailing evidence of election fraud from the Department of Justice, election experts, and Dominion at the time it had been making its statements.” “The fact that, despite this evidence, Fox continued to publish its allegations against Dominion, suggests Fox knew the allegations were probably false.” It gets worse for Fox News. The judge rejected the cable network's "contention that statements" by its hosts "were opinion," Deadline adds. "He wrote that it was 'reasonably conceivable that Fox and its personnel broadcasted mixed opinions that were based on either false or incomplete facts unknown to the reasonable viewer. Many of Fox’s reporters made broad election fraud statements that did not disclose their sources clearly, or clearly connect their statements to the election fraud litigations. Although Fox classifies its reporters’ remarks as commentary’ that used ‘loose and hyperbolic rhetoric’ for entertainment value, even loose and hyperbolic language can be actionable if it rests on false statements of fact undisclosed to viewers.'" ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Maybe Jooliani will bail them out.................wait.... , he's also being sued. ‘Slap in the face for Fox News’: Judge’s ruling shows network’s defense of its hosts’ lies isn’t working Fox News suffered a major setback in a Delaware courtroom when Superior Court Judge Eric M. Davis allowed a $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit filed by Dominion Voting Systems to proceed.
I have no idea what you’re talking about. Cable news is bad news. CNN reports the news as if the world is going to end every 2 days, MSNBC is way too political and they pretend Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders is the base of the Democratic party and Fox is a malignant cancer of misinformation and lies. Bloomberg is an excellent source of news and analysis . NYT is very good, especially for the international stuff. I also recommend AP and Reuters. The news industry is a swamp that will disease your mind. Watch what you eat.
I see. Your party and your media buddies are all circling the toilet now, so you- as is your habit- are pretending that you have always been up on Mount Olympus and do not not get involved with them. Nope, if Rachel Maddow shit on the lawn you would run right over and roll in it like a dog.
Sinema and Murkowsky are weasels who are doing what they want and play the swing vote game to get more attention and goodies than they would otherwise get. But Joe Manchin, being some kind of self-centered, showhorse trying to sabotage the democrats?......ahh....no. Joe is representing the state of West Virginia. What a radical idea that is. And West Virginia went with Trump by double digits. Bernie and all the lefty news media are harping day and night now about "just one guy being allowed to sabotage the entire agenda." That's a crock. He would be the 51st guy to support it. These are the same guys that want to give Mitt Romney the medal of honor everytime he crosses the aisle. And they wanted to put a statute of John McCain down on the national mall showing him casting the vote to save Obamacare. Having said that, Manchin is not beyond giving them some pittance at some point just so that they will have some kind of lame arse victory to try to run on at midterms. We can be sure that it will NOT be the 16 trillion that Bernie and AOC want/though. Nope that dog did not hunt, and as much as Mitch McConnell is a mixed bag pain in the arse, he knew that giving them more time would not wear well for them- that inflation would only get worse while they haggled over it. And that is exactly what is happening. Fun to watch em cry though. Frigging Bernie is not even a registered democrat and he is out there on the rag about people not toeing the dem party line.
I have more respect for Senators Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema than all Democrats and RINOs combined. At least on the issues that matter, they are fighting the Build Back BS bill and hopefully, will shelve it till 2022. Hopefully, until the November 2022 midterms and the Democrats lose the House to permanently, kill this very bad bill.
Their problem with Sinema will only get worse. The dems already have pacs going to primary her when she is up for reelection in 2024. But it is pretty much a given now that she plans to run as an independent so she will relish any differences she has with the dems and use them for fuel in her campaign. Probably a good move on her part and a lot of fun for her too. And being an independent does not necessarily brand her as a non-lefty. Maine and Vermont have senators who are registered as independents so it is workable depending on local politics, which are a fractured mess in AZ and people argue that she is a maverick and AZ likes mavericks which is why they kept McCain. Or so the argument goes. Anyway, the point is that the dem problem with Sinema will only get worse. I don't think that she is thinking "gee, I have had this major rift with dems and I am in the shiiter, how can I make this better." Could Sen. Kyrsten Sinema face a primary? These progressives are trying to make it happen. The Arizona moderate has frustrated Democrats on a wide range of issues, and a new PAC backed by big money is launching an effort to replace her. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/el...rimary-these-progressives-are-trying-n1280392
