Might establish a longer term position on casino stocks but, not jumping in yet. It may get cheaper. We have to wait and see. The same goes for the cruise lines and airlines.
Thanks smallfil. Yes, its a longer term view. I have some cash to the side to buy just 1 more time if price get below my buy in price. It could take years, but oh well. As Warren Buffet said, buy the fear.
I’m an option buyer 90% of the time but I will gladly own these fucker way down here if I get assigned
Once again I fucked myself with greed. Was up nearly $3k at one time on these two positions today but held. By some Caribbean miracle they clawed their way back up. Exited 3 minutes before close for a $300 gain. I need to get this tattooed on the top of my right hand as a constant reminder not to be a pig: “I never buy the bottom and I always sell too soon”.
I got other trades. There are 10,000 stocks in the stockmarket. There is a limit to monies I can put to work in the stockmarket. You do what suits you.
zghorner, Yes, don't be greedy. Here is the deal. You will never get all the profit. You can forget about that. I understand your fustration and we have to fix that issue, but you had a good trade and not good trademangement. It is a problem I have in my own trading, trade management. How do I resolve, I measure alot of exit stratgies per trade and monitor my mental. Here is what your brain want and is asking you for: The brain must know the following before the trade: 1. When will I exactly exit the position if winning? Will this be increment by $XXX amount of dollars? Will this be exit at 2RR, 3RR, 4RR. Will this be close position at market close? Will this be close using an EMA cross or price close above an EMA? The brain does not like playing shoulda coulda woulda games. It needs specific instructions with about 10% discretion when exiting the position. You have to decided who you want to exit positions and measure the different exiting techniques. I understand your fusration because I am measuring/testing exiting strategies myself.
