Who else is finding this the best intraday trading market in years

Discussion in 'Trading' started by SoesWasBetter, Feb 16, 2017.

  1. Nothing has changed. -- Trading is as old as time itself. and emotions and business decisions.

    The people claiming "the best intraday trading market in years" are the same people who will be gone tomorrow;
    Such fad statements are made by amateur traders only o_O:caution: with little to no experience and foresight,

    Great traders, or traders who can stand the test of time, are able to adapt and understand any given current market climate,

    Throw a random trader into 1929, 1987, 1999, 2008...and get yourself a laugh -- they will all drown,
    ...or any flat/safe market for that matter too,

    Trading is basically like the Titanic. (i'll leave this open for interpretation for however you decide to take or perceive it)

    :DHahaha...
    You are absolutely correct, the key word in trading is "adaptation"!
    There is no "annoying" or "frustrating" market, it looks like the wild nature - if you unable to adapt, you'll be eaten. :D

  3. I don't understand why you're being sarcastic. Thanks to the Trump induced mania, I have enjoyed some of my best trading in a long time. How can anybody lose money in these conditions? The markets are throwing money at me. I just wish I had more nerve to take greater risks, however I'm certain that the moment I do take more risk, I'll lose everything.

    Yeah I kind of agree with this. Long setups working well(obviously). But I have same issue, don't have the balls, ignorance, skill or whatever someone considers it to go heavily long, can't risk being stopped out or some odd event happening.

  6. In my experience, when people complain about the market conditions on ET, they're losing money. Since your "positive" remarks were in fact sarcastic, I am guessing you're complaining, and therefore losing money.
