You want guns in the classroom? That's what you're going to get, today. But tomorrow, if the loudest people in the room happen to be saying "no guns in classrooms", then that's what you're going to get, tomorrow. Moving on to his tax plan... And the wall. And the mass deportation. And the Muslim ban.
The best thing about Trump is he is very, very rich! He is so rich no one, except the IRS, knows how rich he is, not even he. He knows the Art of the Deal. He is so good at making deals, he's bad; he's not even had to go to jail. That's how good he is! One of his best deals ever is when he decided to run for President. He figured a sure fire way of filling up all the empty space in one of his mostly empty buildings would be to rent it to his campaign staff. Now his people have lots of space; it wouldn't be exaggerating to say their accommodations are very, very spacious. He has lots of "people," and he treats "his people" really well; really, really well; not just a little well. So OK, maybe not his Mexican people, but c'mon man, they're rapists; why would you want to be nice to a rapist! He hires lawyers for "his people", and everything. When someone tells something about him they shouldn't, his lawyers shut that down real quick. That only makes sense, because he hates liars, especially liars with blood coming out of their you know where. Another reason he needs lots of lawyers, and it's a really, really good reason, is he has his own University; a really, really Great University. Not many people can say that! He is having to shut it down because of a bunch of liars. To be honest, he hates liars! He is paying for all his own campaign expenses. [Hey, can he help it if people insist on giving him money? If he ends up making a little money from his campaign, is it his fault!] He is always surrounded by beautiful people basking in his greatness. His wife is beautiful and his daughter is so beautiful he wanted to do her, but he couldn't, because she is his daughter. And he's beautiful too! He has small hands, a huge penis, and beautiful orange hair, like an orangutan. He's going to make more money being President than anyone. That will make him the Greatest President ever.
as a self proclaimed libertarian for Sanders... when he is eliminated by the dems... who are you going to vote for.
The truth is, i live in a State where my vote for president does not count because of the way the Electoral College works. If that situation ever changes, and we begin to elect our presidents democratically, I will re-evaluate. There may be other ballot issues where my vote could count, and in that case I will vote. I will not vote for Hillary or Trump however.
Trump is a pathological liar. http://www.nytimes.com/politics/fir...d-trumps-financial-disclosure-statement/?_r=0
I was hoping you were going with a third party, but that seems reasonable given your support for Sanders.
want to see bias... see that first paragraph... what joke the times has become. Donald J. Trump earned just $14,222 in salary. He owes at least $265 million in debt. He is paid about $250,000 per speech. And he received $110,000 from a pension with the Screen Actors Guild.
I understand your remark, because, in the main, it is Congress that holds the real power if, and when, they choose to exercise it; particularly the House. However I profoundly disagree with your remark that "...any president [isn't] going to make a difference." Every President has the power to make gigantic differences, and can often make Gigantic differences despite the Congress. Recent congresses have been so disjointed, so ideologically driven, so selfish, so unwilling to work across party lines to accomplish anything, that they can't get it together long enough to exercise the power the Constitution gives them. Just consider continuous undeclared wars if you want one of numerous examples. The House even has the power to prevent the Supreme Court from reviewing legislation! When Congress fails to do their job they leave a gap for the President to step into. Start wars! Do you consider the expenditure of billions on continuous war, and the death and maiming of millions significant. If you do, then it does matter who is president. What about the Supreme and Appeals courts? The president has the power to nominate Justices. That's hugely important and can affect the course of history for decades if not centuries. Even though the Senate can turn down nominees, and does, the power to nominate is the President's. That's hugely important. The President can direct Federal agencies to do this or that, and without without Congress's consent. That is also hugely important. The President is commander and chief of the military. That's hugely important.
