I mean, the numbers of poor do tend to be darker. Not a well thought out statement, I just don't see the malice

Well lets be real here H4... had Trump said that... omg... the malice "you don't see" would dominate the news cycle for a week and then some. Pure gold. It would no doubt find its place in the Dem 2020 Trump "montage of racist gaffs" campaign commercial. Right next to "good people on both sides" for sure.

But fear not. Trump is the gift that keeps on giving.
    ...Here ya go:

Well, he does have a 'malicious' streak, but you're likely right that it would capture a few headlines. Though something tells me Trumpy would've been way more ham-fisted.

He inherited $800MM and became too big to fail because his lending was so concentrated -> buys The Plaza at $300 over the daily rack rate (per room) -> blows-up 5x.

"Inheritance to idiot sons" Gordon Gekko

Trump's biggest problem (of thousands) is that he is literally too dumb to act in his own (true) self-interest.

Was on my drive home thinking...."you can't really call him a monster because he's not smart enough or ruthlessly violent to be one". Just a dumb, insecure bully, who've we've handed unlimited power to.
