Obama's campaign theme is we should care more about what Romney did with his own money than Obama does with ours. It seems to be a winning message because the people who are voting for Obama see themselves as largely being the recipients of our money.
Of course, I'm not an Obama supporter, but shouldn't we be concerned about both? Democrats understand demographics better than the Republicans. Of course, neither of the two major parties give a damn about you and me.
Why would anyone want or need a politician to watch their money? There are plenty of Hedge fund managers, investment advisors, and other crooks to give your money to, if you can't handle it yourself.
