Bracing myself for this answer......back in the dark ages it was GHCO, Refco, Kingstree, and a few others. Here is my situation: I can put 100K in a "first loss", or at the very least, "shared loss" environment. It's an all futures based strategy, multi day hold times, pre-defined risk on entry. It would make a good "fund", but I have no desire to endure the CTA set up brain damage or client relations. Best guess is that trade liquidity would start to suffer once $5-10MM was being put to work in a responsible manner, so the typical 2-20 deal does not really make sense either. I am just looking for some firepower with good splits. Suggestions?
