I contend the complete opposite: that, however immoral it might be, it's perfectly logical to be a racist, a sexist, xenophobe etc. Philosophers even have a name for your brand of delusion: moralistic fallacy. The fallacy of believing that because something is good it must be true (or something bad must be false). That alone should be reason enough to "argue logically with right wing extremist, racist..."
Most racist, bigoted, extremist, xenophobic people can and do rationalize their condition as "logical." However, that doesn't make the position logical, it makes the person arguing the position irrational, and those who argue in support of it all the more laughable....
