White House Science Czar:Use free market to de-develop the United States

Discussion in 'Politics' started by Grandluxe, Sep 20, 2011.

  1. In a video interview this week, White House Office of Science and Technology Director John P. Holdren told CNSNews.com that he would use the “free market economy” to implement the “massive campaign” he advocated along with Paul Ehrlich to “de-develop the United States.”

    "...The need for de-development presents our economists with a major challenge. They must design a stable, low-consumption economy in which there is a much more equitable distribution of wealth than in the present one. Redistribution of wealth both within and among nations is absolutely essential, if a decent life is to be provided for every human being.”

    :eek:

    Pol Pot Agrarian society?

  2. Nobody is entitled to ANYTHING except what they earn for themselves.

    FUCK "every human being [being equal]"... or "every human being being PROVIDED a decent life" !

    :mad: :mad:

  3. Expect someday to be rounded up, lose your land, house. Government determines all land, private property use.

  4. toc

    toc

    Wrong idea, won't work. He needs to call for de-developing certain areas of the economy not the whole economic engine 'cause whole machine thrown into a lower gear would be equivalent to calling for a DEPRESSION.

    :D

  5. Ok that was pretty disturbing. Apparently there are those in this world who believe they have a right to the fruits of your labor. I am not one of them.

  6. Unbelievably, i still have friends who will still vote for this idiot again- they blame all our problems on the tea party. you'll all be shocked to know i live in northern CA!).

    apt Pol Pot reference. had to comment since i am actually in Cambodia right now!

  7. This czar is another ass clown.

    Humm, lets not talk about the millions that pumped into Obama's pet project on solar huh?

    lets not talk about the true cost of Green energy.

    Let this ass clown speak and pound his hands and rally the sheeople behind him.

    Meanwhile, my clients continue to earn 2% a month on Productive Domestic oil wells. And more money is pouring into the Shale development and Domestic Drilling Projects...while pikers continue to try
    and bring in "Green Energy" without truly exposing the cost and with very little success. Just ask Boon about the 2 billion he lost, here in Texas with his wind farm.

    you want good clean energy to accompany oil and gas. BLOOM ENERGY is gona knock the fucking Liberal Socialist tards outa the game in a few years.

    meanwhile, all you freeloading, anti-oil and gas clowns and this Czar can chase your rainbows.

  8. There is more:

    From http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=ff5_1247275192 :

    "In a book Holdren co-authored in 1977, the man now firmly in control of science policy in this country wrote that:

    • Women could be forced to abort their pregnancies, whether they wanted to or not;

    • The population at large could be sterilized by infertility drugs intentionally put into the nation’s drinking water or in food;

    • Single mothers and teen mothers should have their babies seized from them against their will and given away to other couples to raise;

    • People who “contribute to social deterioration” (i.e. undesirables) “can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility” — in other words, be compelled to have abortions or be sterilized.

    • A transnational “Planetary Regime” should assume control of the global economy and also dictate the most intimate details of Americans’ lives — using an armed international police force."

  9. yeah, amazing how the media still refuses to shed a light on this idiot's green initiatives. forcing thru funding so his photo ops didn't have to be rescheduled. what's a half billion dollars of OUR money down the drain when he has a chance to stroke his massive ego.

    lest we not forget the billion dollar fslr project that is producing 20 full time jobs.

    haven't heard anyone else talk about his speech yesterday. there was a point where he was talking about people making over $1mm dollars and he made the comment that they need to be held accountable for this. i tried to find it on the internet but i couldn't. it was unbelievable. like earning money was akin to committing a crime. of course, that is exactly what he believes.

    yes we can...

  10. I like the Pol Pot reference.... nice. It's so sad what happened in Cambodia... Beautiful country, but I still can't believe 1/3 of the population was killed. :(
