Banks weren't discriminating against fossil fuel industries nor did Obama make an executive order for them to do so. Obama encouraged banks to do less financing for the fossil fuel industry, the banks gave it a shot and reversed course on their own after losing out on billions of dollars, they weren't forced to by EO. I think banks will reverse course on crypto on their own.The fossil fuel industry brings in trillions of dollars and the crypto industry will bring in billions, conservative organizations do not.
The Obama administration's "Operation Choke Point" campaign, which encouraged banks to cut ties with certain industries, is often cited as an example of government pressure leading to debanking.
Encouraged, not forced.Losing hundreds of billions dollars from the fossil fuel industry is what made them change course, not an executive order. Banks are not losing hundreds of billions dollars from conservitive organizations and it alienates other customers so its different than the fossil fuel industry.
Unlike losing hundreds of billions from the oil industry banks find that acceptable. I also dont think its half as conservatives still use the banks that discriminate against them.
Ok, this is getting absurd, where some of you cult members get obsessed with a bunch of fake crisis points, and ignore some very real crisis being created by Trump policy. Big picture doesn't mean much to some of you does it ? Banks discriminating against Conservatives is a really, really stupid concept. You don't like your bank get another one, problem solved.
