that does explain the incompetent response so far.

  2. BP pays a huge "lobbying" fee to the Podesta Group, which is tight with Obama and the chicago thugs in his inner circle. I have little doubt it goes a way to explain Obama's limp response to BP's carelessness and ineffectual response. No doubt they are trying to come up with a theory to stick all the liability on Halliburton because...shudder...Dick Cheney used to work there.

BP is the poster boy for corporate hypocrisy. They run all these ads touting how green they are and join all these phony global warming campaigns, but when it comes to action they are by far the single most irresponsible oil company in existence. Their willful negligence in the Texas refinery explosion was exposed by 60 Minutes among others. They overruled Transocean on this blowout to try to save some money and speed up the well completion, resulting in the worst environmental disaster in our nation's history. They should never be allowed to drill another well in the US.
