Companies are asked each week by individuals for jobs and most folks have some system they love to trade and have zero live trading record, but all companies see it as they will become test subject and if they hire you, you be trading a demo account and have to pay for being there, plus give up your system to boot. Let's face it, if you were trading it for three years, you might not need them. It best to program it and don't have to worry about masses getting your method, start small and work it up.
Thank you for kind advise. Last November i had a sit down with good programmer,nice few hours talk and stood up,paid the tab and told him i am not ready to share the details. I just could not get myself to do it. And i read here on this forum other day "Those who live in fear stay poor" ,very true In that meeting there was also friend of mine who speaks 7 languages fluently,I want him to run the office and he was telling me "This programmer will code it for you." I froze,could not even answer him what i think about that. I see ,i will go and talk to this programmer,very capable guy knows way more than coding trading strategy in c# and talk to him one of these days Need to digest this first I do test manually on Forex data and some futures,I am getting bored with that Thanks again for your reply.
Things are going in the right direction,formed a partnership with very good programmer to get this coded.Same guy i met last year and had a sit down with but could not get myself to go further. Finally i got a "punch in face" to progress and not being stock in same mindset anymore. Like with everything someone else had to give me a kick and it is working . We both agreed to work as a business. Programmer will work in Openquant framework All this recent development is like a big relief for me.I am still paranoid,signed up for encrypted email account,but at least i realized that i need to take risk and trust and collaborate. Good trading to all and don't give up,it takes years and years.
