Gold has broken out of a 62 day bull flag - sometimes the holiday moves get reversed when the big players return after new years - only time will tell. The breakout on shrinking volume is suspect.

Many years back, I had an old timer friend of mine that was heavy into currency futures. One day i would say, Hey Joe! are we going up or down? He'd say "Yeah" and nod his head up and down, we'd all laugh and than we'd try to get a firm call, than he'd say what the F*ck! do I look like a F*ckn fortune teller? So Do you still want an answer for Which way? GOLD. :D

Yeah, go and ask ol' Joe, but is he still around to talk with you?
Atm, gold is nudging its way on up, bit too slow for my liking so I'm not confident in it and not adding to my current small modest holdings.
I invested in some penny type gold and silver stocks, they can move far & fast so happy enough with that situation.

Joe is gone, The old Hungarian dude was in a big position when he died, he left his kids with a mess to unload. I can still see him now, short, stocky, ate salami and smoked sausages every day for lunch and was a chain smoker.

I met a dude in new jersey at a book store, short, stocky just like Joe but wore a sport coat and clean cut, kinda weird. I got to talking to him because of the material he was reading. He was into precious metals (Gold) he even carried 12 Gold Krugerrands in paper pouch in his bread pocket, he was one of those end of the banking system kind of guys. He carried those coins encase everything fell to shit. He invested in Canadian mining companies. I guess he didn't trust the US system. But at the time he was investing into the Canadian miners, he had to deposit Canadian funds into his account in order to buy there stocks. He did well, but i think he didn't live long either. This was around 2002, i guess his Gold was worth a bunch now.

It appears your private messages is turned off, Just wanted to say sorry for not responding right away, i would think they would be correlated to each other, but slightly different since they are different markets.
