its up to you actually. IMO you have more edge on futures and forex than options.(depends on comm+slipagge) Of course someone may came up with a different opinion.
Forex requires less capital to start with...although you may not be making as much in profit in the beginning...but if you're consistent, that changes in 2-3 months. Bottom line: any market is profitable if you study, learn, and master it.
any market can be profitable any market can ruin you also. On forex you can open what they call "mini-account" but of couse usually the 93-97% of these accounts end on $0 o near to $0. That's the fact. Of course you may be one of those 3-7% that remain profitable after the first year.
the truth is forex trading is actually easier than nyse trading it requires work, it requires lot of trial and error, and a dash of blood, to make it happen you might think I am referring to blood in a metaphor manner (I am not) you gotta bleed and sweat and maybe even experience jail before the easy money shows up
