    Since the book of Proverbs/The Living Bible mentions wisdom/ common sense also;
    some things we do not tolerate. Good poll numbers here against islam...................................

    So you are intolerant of Muslims then?
    And you justify this by saying that you would be intolerant of an incompetent airplane pilot.

    Interesting question. I'm not sure many people, even religious people, would know enough about multiple religions to pass an expert opinion so the polling would only make sense on perceptions of religious intolerance. That doesn't make it invalid though. I vote Islam.

    I don't know much about Islam, being an atheist, except that in a number of Islamic countries I face the death penalty. So that's about as much as I need to know.

    I don't think the OP defined it, or mentioned it.

  7. They are all pretty intolerant when challenging their beliefs. Problem is the true atheist doesn't offer much of an alternative to feel all warm and fuzzy about. We're here by random chance, mostly just hanging around waiting to die and rot into nothingness. Pick your poison and just try not to kill anyone who disagrees should be the moral goal.

    Is that because you are gay? There are many Christians in America who would subject you to torture for that.

    60percent of Americans don’t even know a Muslim. If those percentages hold, then whose the intolerant one when Islam is leading this poll?

    No, the death penalty is a state-sanctioned legal penalty for atheism in multiple Islam countries.

    I have no problem with religions that don't seek to put me to death for my beliefs on religion. Maybe you know better than I do, perhaps there are other religions which I should despise because they take a similar line?
