I do not believe that Don is a fraudster or that he operates illegaly. I do believe that he is a predator that has lost touch with his own industry and that the legacy of his shop is one of broken dreams and broken bankrolls. Further I am shocked that he is in such denial of the nature of his business and his industry. Certainly he has the financial resources to develop a program that would truly help players become profitalbe to such a degree that in addition to his fees and juice he could claim a piece of the profits. Better for him and better for the traders who would wind up paying him even more. Instead he sits in that all but empty building, clinging to the past and doing nothing to meet the future. Jack
How about an ES combine with Bob as the teacher Come on Don 200-500 customers a month paying $200-$500 a month to watch a proven veteran ES trader . Now that's something even I would pay for
Hard to call anyone out on prop trading. As of right now, the only prop traders I know that are making profits are heavy hitters. Usually 100k-200k in account and they 15x BP. Really hard if not impossible to make money prop trading as a newbie or small fish. Sucks as I love Prop. Now I just use my prop account as something to keep me active during day and I use my Iris pairs account for my lifestyle. I will give anything to have prop over pairs in terms of profits, but right now it is not happening. Seems like that this is the case with every trader I am friends with. Would like to see traders take responsibility for their ability or lack of ability in trading instead of calling others out. I trade my account, no one else. I also will never pay for education/seminars etc. That is a complete rip off. Good luck all.
I just double checked, mostly SPY's. About 25% E's. SPY can be a good replacement for futures of course. Don
See above, more SPY's this year. We have reasons for that. In the current environment, we're finding out top people are holding positions longer as well, FWIW. Don

If you think there is or ever has been any type of "program" that will guarantee profits, I would love to see it. We offer capital, training, and continuous support. Sorry, no free money or blue sky or dreams. Just support for serious people. Don
LOL, I'll pass that along. Not sure I could or would ever try to sell something like that. No way to learn by simply watching someone IMO. Need to learn what they have learned over the years, and then try to put it to use with your own money. Same for all business ventures I think. Don
Don, The problem is that what you offer is not enough. The results produced are the reason for the decline in your shop and in the industry. Your model screams that you have no faith in your ability to produce profitable traders. A model that relates your shop's profits to those of your traders would add credibility to you and your industry. As it is, you earn while most of your applicants fail. I will never forget my feeling of shock when you told me in no uncertain terms that 1) No one makes any money trading futures and 2) there was no software that could help anyone trade or learn to trade. Even today I am shocked by the hubris you display when you flog your program and even more so when you speak of offering automated systems. If these systems were worth anything at all - what would you need traders for? Given your attitude about technology it is no wonder that you are unable to demonstrate any that is even near the state of the art. You indicate that you have sniffed around a bit - maybe you have been sniffing in the wrong places. I don't believe that the future of prop trading has anything to do with anything that is done at your shop and until that hits home enough for you to make some changes in your training, technology and business model, I think it will stay lonesome in your shop and you will have plenty of time for poker. I am a published author and while my next work is about short term trading, trade decision support technologies and systems development - it will most probably also discuss what I see as the ins and outs of this industry and this kind of deal. To be fair and professional - if you think you have either concepts, models or technology that might change my impression and would care to enlighten me - I would be happy to drop in, I live close by.
