I haven't tried it yet, but the guy from Trademaven says its awesome, that it will compete with tradestation.

  3. Turff, Please cut your crap. Trademaven is nowhere
close to what tradestation can do

Someone then has to be really stupid to pay $250 a
month to TS, if he can get the same result from trade maven

Ofcourse, trade maven guys can say anything about
their products, TM is just good for order entry, and
    not automation purpose

  6. You meant to say i am MORE-ON/IN to these. Thanks :)

Lets say for example if Trademaven can place Stop-limit
and stop-close that TradeStation is capable of?

  7. Both Strategy Runner pro and Ninja trader offer what
Trade Maven has, even some extras (except for NT w/o
    any chart)

  8. The first thing you want is something that does not keep you chained like a piece of cattle to your OS owner, i.e. gives you the freedom to use the OS of your choice.

The second is a free and open API/SDK. Not something like J-trader with its pricy 'exam' kind of approval, or worse like X-trader with everything carefully hidden from view.

Look at IB's TWS, that's a good example of "WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET". Go to their website and it's all there ready to go for everybody who wants it.

Don't get fooled by dopes praising the greatness of Y-trader or Z-trader. Go and find out for yourself. Come back to post after you did.
