For the different commodity exchanges, which orders (such as stop or stop limit) are held at IB and which ones rest on the exchange servers? Thank you.
To my knowledge, none of the exchanges except stop or stop limit orders anymore and it must be handled by the platform. 1245
The IB website lists by exchange which order types are native or simulated. I am pretty sure stop-limit is native on Globex, though are are conditions (i.e. price banding) that you need to understand.
