Which hurts more?

  1. I'm curious as to which type of trade is more difficult to get out of your head. The one you pass on that doesn't quite line up and then goes on to be profitable, or the one that lines up perfectly and then fails to a loss?
For me it's the one I take a pass on and then it zooms to the profit zone while I just watch.

  2. For me it is neither. Each and every trade I make is no more or less important than previous ones. If my system tells me to get out I get out. I never look back at anything I passed up. There are always new opportunities, and looking back at opportunity lost is counter-productive.

  3. Miss a money show ;) Of course, the first.

  4. i had the impulse to short wheat at 499 at the USDA crop report this week. I passed - my silly rule of not fighting the long trend in a drought kept me back. two day 20 cent move missed.

    still feeling it.

most trades i'm entering lately are doing quite the opposite.

    :(

I HATE missed trades. The reason is because losses when the signal doesn't work can be calculated, but stupidity when not taking valid signals can not...
