Which futures firm do you use and why?

    YOu can call or email tos and get better daytrading margins... they wont do 500 but You can prob get 2000....

    i agree.

    the best way in my experience to get this is to find a broker with their own memberships at the exchange. this means they will take ownsership of all issues, and not have to call their executing member.

    the op simply needs to go to the cme & ice web sites and approach the member brokers listed.

    check out velocity. i dont use them, but a thinking of changing.

    does anyone out there actually max out their buying power with these $500 intraday margins?

    just seems crazy to me (me being someone who learned the hard way just how much leverage can bite you in the ass).

    If you want firms regulated by the CME look for CME under the DSRO column.

    TOS has day margin available.. they reduce the margin req to 33% of overnight, but you must post 15k in your futures account to qualify for day
