I currently trade stocks / futures on Interactive Brokers. Great broker but charting software is not so hot. Any suggestions on best low cost or free charting platform for real time and end of day charting.

  4. FWIW, I think IB feeds are terrible... you get random feed loss day or night (more often at night).

SierraChart is $26/month and is worth every penny... they will graph directly from IB feeds, or you can use an external provider (my preference).

Use IB and QT. If you can't trade using IB data, you can't trade.

  6. Institutional investors don't use filtered data, neither should you. Trade like the pro's or be mediocre, your choice.

  10. Some of us don't mind $50/month for piece of mind... yeah, you can trade with IB data, but I'll pay more for reliability.
