There is absolutely no need to refresh yourself ... Just use something like Tweetdeck.

And yes of course, you will never beat the algo's reacting to the news, obviously ... Not even when you are using a news source that costs you many thousands $ a month.

But what do you think is going to be faster: reading the tweet Trump posted seconds after he posted it, or wait for some kind of news service to analyze it and read it out for you?

If used well Twitter is one of the best sources to get your news from and its free. It can't compete with a Bloomberg Terminal for example for most news, but it is way better than watching CNBC and even better than most expensive squawks out there (if you know who to follow). It is a great source to follow news and keep you up to date on what is moving the market.

  2. All very good points.

    Thanks guys.

This brings me to: what else other than the charts do you look at or watch for (if anything)?

    A) Yes Dev, I'm not that sophisticated when it comes to Twitter use!

    B) And yes Dev, I agree again, Twitter is probably the best sources for getting news quicker these days.

Does anyone follow any specific news feed or sources for crude oil prices as it pertains to forex?

    There probably isn't one.

Crude doesn't attract a lot of fast paced running news like FX or stocks.

What do you mean with crude oil prices, someone who gives out trade calls or target prices?
