Never really heard much about eSignal in these last years. Is it still an up-to-date/competitive platform? Just briefly checked the website now and it seems their platform is completely updated from last time I checked. Will you be executing from your charts too or could you possibly use your current broker's platform for the execution? If the latter is possible, I think Ninjatrader have great charts and while I've had some complaints/annoyances, it is doing okay and haven't failed me in live trading yet. I think you can use it for free if you're not live trading through it. To suit your needs you'd probably need Kinetick for data, then. https://kinetick.com/Subscribe
Version 12 of esignal is as good as cqg. Much improved since version 10. Very smooth in operation. Scanner is good and can be linked to chart windows.
It does look good. Seems like a lot have happened since I last took a look. Still, for the OP's needs, it's possible Ninja can do the same cheaper if he's only interested in basic charting and nice charts.
$10 a month per exchange is ok. Plus $176 a month plus three exchanges is $206 a month. If you use the scanner and then link the windows to the intraday, daily, weekly and monthly charts then you click once on a mover in the scanner and see all the charts very quickly.
. Reminds me of how I was paying over $500 for Esig and Get, scanner a month for decades, broker rebated me but always thought it was the cost of clean data Great post!
