Which eSignal data packages for intraday charts?

That is very expensive. Who is your broker? With www.interactivebrokers.com the datafeed and exchange fee is free. You then use a third party program like www.medvedtrader.com for $20 a month. IB even have free charts within TWS.

you need nasdaq level 1 and NYSE no pro.

  2. Are the IB charts real-time 1 minute, and can include VWAP?

My broker is Lightspeed but the pre-market 1m chart is sometimes incorrect (e.g. a 1m candle with $0.6 range and huge volume will display as unch once the candle closes). Also I want the VWAP to include premarket data which is important for low floats.

Will I need to buy the NYSE American package in addition to NASDAQ level 1, and NYSE non pro?

In a bull market just sign up and think about your costs when it gets quiet again. There were problems with vwap in IB TWS mosaic but I think they have been fixed. IB do one minute charts in real time. I don’t know what trades on Amex. You can always add it later.

how did you get this price list?

I checked from my esignal charting software.
FB is under Nasdaq Exchange ($120 / yr ? )
GS goldman Sach is under NYSE ( $120 / yr ?).

do confirm with the esignal staff about the pricing.

I presume u are non pro (pro pays more for exactly the same data).

Level 1 should be sufficient for the charting software.
level 2 - more expensive. it has more data depths which is not really necessary.

  5. What I don't get is, for these securities, they're being traded across multiple venues. If I just buy NASDAQ Level 1 to watch, say, $FB, how are they going to get the $FB prints from the the non-NASDAQ exchanges in order to build the correct candles?

I saw the prices when I was registering an account just now:

$176 + $360 for us exchange data is expensive. Esignal used to be cheap before ICE bought them.

OK. I can't see the price list because my account is of different type.

    not sure of your question.

if you just subscribe to say Nasdaq exchange data, you can see FB, AAPL ... data .
But you wouldn't be able to see GS data.

Similarly if you subscribe to NYSE data, you can see GS, General Electric ... data but not FB data

  8. I do understand this part.

But FB is traded on more than just NASDAQ, it's also traded on IEX, ARCA, BATS, etc.

How come I can subscribe to "NASDAQ" but get all of FB's volume across not only NASDAQ, but these other exchanges too?

  9. Yeah ICE is mega expensive for literally all of their offerings.

I just want top quality charts, with VWAP including pre-market data. Do you have any suggestions aside from IB?

I can't get ToS (TD Ameritrade) or Tradestation, since I'm outside of the US
