Which data providers provide http or other interface which is economic, heavy duty, open standard, either realtime or EOD? Say, I'd like to make frequent 10K-100K several different queries per day. I guess free data providers are not acceptable for they are gonna shut me off or too slow or garbage to me. Any suggestion? Thank you.
The question actually can be asked in another way. Which data providers provide a relatively complete market data set in one or a few number of files (1-10K) by the end of the day for downloading, with an open standard for people to use? You can tell me those who charge big dollars on this. But I may just ignore 'em. Thanks.
if you are going to make that large number of queries, why not get a provider like NAQ http://www.naq.com/eodservice_$.asp and load it into your own database.
Oh, this's a good one. Thanks a lot, richtrader. It is just at the top of the price range that I am willing to offer. Since it's Canadian dollar which is quite stronger than the US$ laterly,. Besides they charge 7% on service I'd explore more and cheaper alternatives as candidates and/or backups. Thanks again.
