I need truly raw data, and if they can give it to me in ascii format it'd be even better rather than these formatted ones (like IQ feed) that i have to try to pull into raw data form. Does anyone have a suggestion?
ascii is pretty inefficient. What is wrong with binary? You can get feeds directly from the exchange but they are fairly expensive. Any good direct access broker should provide raw data.
I appreciate your feedback...its actually not for me but for a student working on a project, and ASCII is what he needs. Hes limited in capital and knowledge.
