  1. she should investigate how they replaced definition of inflation in economics books over the past 50 years from CONTROL OF MONEY SUPPLY (PRINTING MONEY) to a phenamina of rising prices! go ask any young economist and they'll tell you rising prices without any clue how credit/money supply actually effects prices.. maybe she can start with King George III

but becareful she'll either get a perfect mark or disappear mysteriously..

I come from ex communist country. Please be assured that the professors here do not speak English and have no idea that FED is privately owned. They will be as shocked at this news as I was a few days ago when I first heard about it.

    Hello Batman28,

Thanks for the advise. While making some research over the internet during the past few days I was shocked by some old-school economists claiming the inflation is rather money-supply related. It is contrary what I am told on the telly and in newspapers.

And I agree she will need to be very carefull. The subject is tempting but the potential misunderstanding at professors' side can make her unhappy.

    Regards

It should suffice to attach the Act of Federal Reserve'' of 1913 + some internet sources.

Are there any extracts available on the internet from the company register showing FED's lates shareholders?

    Thanks AMT4SWA for the links.

The FED hedquaters are in Washington, so I assume the FED is incorporated there. Is it a joint stock company / limited liability company / other legal form?

FED is one of the biggest companies in the world. Surely someone went to the court to see if it's duly incorporated at least

There are inteligence companies that specialise in assessing your business partners' creditworthiness (they chceck financial standing, court register, they check who the shareholders and directors are, they check if these persons were convicted of crime, etc.). Such service costs a few bucks.

Do you think a specialised company would be able to screen the fed based on court documents with regard to its owners?
