You describe function, without knowing cause of function, nor if function was by design or chance... Show me a shred of evidence of non-God.... Uh...where did the laws of physics come from.... Did they too just magically appear from nothing by random ignorant chance? Doh!
You're on the run now, back to First Cause. Bad place to be. Let's grant that the First Cause put the Laws into effect, including natural selection and evolution. Therefore the egg came before the chicken. "Show me a shred of evidence of non-God"? Are you really that stupid?? That IS what all the evidence shows. Show us the opposite.
man, u are twistin' things and goin' off topic; we discussin' events and functions here not freakin first immobile engines. and neither we discussin' where physical laws are comin from, there are hundreds of explanations for that...i suggest a read here: black holes and newborn universes..u get a few theories bout the origins of em...of course they are just theories but at least they are based on science and not on blind fanatism. and again for what concerns the non-gawd existence it is u who have to show evidence of somethin is not me that has to prove the obvious, oh boy if this is gettin ridiculous.
Which evolutionary events have you witnessed, in which a lower species evolved into a higher species? Seen any non chickens laying chicken eggs? LOL... Which evolutionary function have you witnessed in which you observed a lower species evolve to a higher species? Seen any sea creatures sprout legs, ditch their gills, and become land lubbers? Double LOL... I don't need to read theory after speculative theory, but thanks anyway... Like I said, you believe whatever you like, fine by me... And, no I don't have to show you anything of evidence, all I need to show you is that you theory is untested, unverfied, and unfalsifiable. If you want to believe it anyway, fine by me... Oh, and facts are obvious, theories are created and exist not in observation, but in the mind of man....
theories are speculative but are also based on science therefore on the realm of possibilities given the laws that govern our universe, unlike YOUR theories fabricated by a 1000s yr old civilization who had no clue whatsoever about astronomy, biochemistry and medicine. and for your info many of those theories have already been proven to be correct trough experiments, like the newtons laws and the dna nucleus existence. everythin' has been born from an idea in science and has gone to the process of validation...so rest assured many other experiments will follow provin' those theories u deem unverifiable to be, infact, valid...hows that for observation? ror second, since u mention aquatic species, marine archeologists found a freakin' fossil, of a fish, that had develop LEGS, yes legs, to walk, maybe on this earth, and this could very well be the missin' link in the passage of evolution..so, although just one piece of the puzzle it adds up to the other 100s of thousands of pieces...in the end, we have plenty of concrete evidence and u have absolutely nothin', ROR again.
Legs to walk maybe on the earth? May be one piece of the puzzle? LOL... Oh yeah, maybe baby.... This is science? String together a bunch of maybes could be so that people swallow them hook line and sinker as the way things really are? Like I said, if it makes you feel better to believe a bunch of maybes, could be, perhaps, possibly, some scientists think, etc.....fine by me. Chickens 12 Eggs 4
what u dont understand is that u dont need to dismiss science to keep your beliefs, infact many scientists believe in gawd but they dont refute anythin' that is before their eyes: the universe cud very well have been created by intel design and this design cud have tought out how to evolve a bacterium into a man. but if u decide to close your eyes and follow the bible to the letter, heck that's your choice, carry on.
I am not dismissing science at all, I appreciate all the good that has come from science, and I admire those scientists who actually practice science properly, who don't become dogmatic and rigid in their thinking. There is no conflict at all between my beliefs and real science, as real science has produced nothing at all that conflicts with my belief systems, and it never will. What I am dismissing is the hubris of scientists and their fundamentalist followers who think they got it all figured out, and necessarily exclude other possibilities. My eyes are not closed at all, and I am not following the Bible to the letter, thanks anyway.... That said, the design of the chicken came before the design of the egg....
