Which brokers offer a checkbook/ checking account?

Discussion in 'Retail Brokers' started by Option Trader, May 24, 2009.

  1. I know TD Ameritrade does. Do you know of any other brokers who do?

    Thank you in advance.

  2. Etrade ...:D

  3. and MB Trading, as far as I remember

  4. scottrade

  5. Thanks. Do they require you transfer the funds to a separate account before writing a check? I believe Tradestation?? offers the service on this basis.

  7. Please elaborate. :)

  8. Checkbook/ checking account is a service you do not need from a broker.

Well if you have a trading account with them, you can write checks off of that account; you can also request a visa debit card that deducts funds from the trading account.

Also, if you have a trading account with Schwab and Wells Fargo (for example), you can do an ach debit/credit from either account and it will post next day usually, no wire fees.
