I've recently switched to a short strategy. I'm very excited about my strategy because it has done much better then my long positions. The problem I'm having is getting ahold of shares of stocks i want to short. It often seems like the brokerage firm I'm with doesn't have shares available to short. This is very frustrating. What brokerage is large enough that I would not have a problem shorting most stocks. (ie they have shares available to short) I do understand that some stocks are just not liquid enough. I'd like to leave out the brokerage i'm using to see if it is mentioned here. Please offer suggestions or if you have another thread on this topic a link to that thread. Thanks!
