I am currently trading through interactive brokers. Interactive brokers has a lot of shortable stocks available in most big cap stocks. However, i am looking to open an account at another brokerage firm to be able to short stocks that are not available to short at interactive brokers. I was thinking about Schwab and Ameritrade. Does anybody have experience with these or other brokerages with regard to the availability to short small cap stocks ?
