Many of us believe in new. We spent most of our life time and energy to seek something new, new books, new computers, new gadgets, new boyfriends and girlfriends, new husbands and wives, new houses, new places, new ideas, new stocks, new strategies, new parameters, searching new, searching new. Regardless what we find is new or not, good or bad, we are going to try it out ourselves and see if we can take benefit out of it. This may be the nature of human being. Greed, never satisfied even the old works well.
This may be how human society moves forward. But in practice to individuals, the matter of truth is that the new may not necessarily better than the old. It most likely costs more than it worth and certainly than the old. On the other hand, the old represent clarity, experience, and cost paid. I like the good old. How about you?
