    I agree
I would like to see this fix
    Privatize Social Security for Blacks
If one works 40 years even at minimum wage they will have several hundred thousand dollars saved
Best Social Security payout starts at age 67. Average age of death for Blacks is around 67
They die and no money for the family
Money goes to people who live longer , Asians and Whites
Give ownership of that $200,000 SS fund to the family....It will break generational poverty

  4. In 2018 or 2019, I was bored at a truck stop in West Memphis, AR on a weekend. I decided to go to a Toastmasters meeting in Memphis, TN, which turned out to be in a slum. The meeting took place in a commercial building that was also used as a residence for people. I was the only White person in the area, including the meeting.

I ended up being a speech evaluator for the group, given my pervious experience at Toastmasters. Most were apprehensive of me at first, but warmed up to me as the meeting progressed. There was roughly a equal mix of men and women across a wide range of ages. The speeches given were of high quality. Three people stood out. The club president was an elderly woman in a wheelchair. Her eyes had seen a lot of history. Another participant was a middle aged man who gave a speech related to his preparation to run for US Presidency. Finally was a woman in her early thirties with an athletic build, a very short afro and baggy clothes. At first glance, one could easily mistake her as a man. Especially at night. I thought this was by design, as a defensive measure.

The people at the meeting were capable, but I am not sure where they were at as far as how comfortable they were living and working in the area. Memphis, TN has a very high crime rate.

There is an impressive, multistory library downtown that serves a good part of downtown Memphis and nearby slums. I paid $50 for an annual, non resident membership to have access to their comprehensive, online subscriptions. There are community leaders, including successful business executives who donate their time and help raise money for those in need with charity drives.

In 2019, two executives were murdered during different times of the year. They were both prominent contributors to the local community. I speculated at the time whether these murders were coordinated. Probably not, but talk about destructive behavior towards the victims and the community. Teachers, police, pastors, mothers, and children also get killed, robbing Memphis, TN of a path towards recovery, it seems.

I have now heard multiple judges say that if substance abuse was eliminated, they would be happy as they watched their courtrooms closed for lack of need.

@SimpleLikeMe, survival of the fittest? Acceptable losses? Increased efforts against substance abuse? Reparations? if so, how much? A combination of the preceding? Any other ideas to make progress?

  5. Hello Mercor,

You right about that. No one in my family owns land, business or nothing. So when parents die, no wealth to pass down. maybe life insurance.

I know one black guy who parents left him $150,000 when they pass.

My black family have these conversations often of what the government can do to help so many blacks between the age 35 to 65 working hard everyday, but because of lack of education and other misfortunates, its is challenge to save money or max 401K. Many black people I know do not even have 401K and if they do, they are not contributing to it.

Alot of black people know what they need to do, but the problem is they learn too late above age 35 years old, by this time, they have kids and other stuff.

Someone would say, well get educated. Most do get educated, but wrong non paying degrees.

From my experiences, majority black people above the age 35 years old know exactly what to do with $50,000 to start a new rather that be college or business or whatever.

It is money man, it all resolves around money and they lack thereof.

  6. Hello BeautifulStranger,

It is VERY easy, all the USA government has to do is this:

    1. Give each black person above the age of 21 years old, $50,000 to ANYONE who have not committed a crime and been arrested within 5 years. They can do 10 years as well.

This mean, even if a black man/woman at age 35 was arrested within the past 5 years, he gets nothing, he has 5 more years to wait to do right to get paid.

This ALONE will reduce the crime rate in America and increase the well being of black people.

Within those 5 years, you will see major improvement in the black community.

  9. As far as your criteria, my concern is a fair amount of money given would go back into substance abuse, defeating the purpose, and continuing the cycle. I don't know what percentage of people committing crimes get caught in five years, or ten years, but it may be well less than half.

Perhaps some combination of improved policies and money could work? At least provide a positive net expectancy?

As it is now the human cost, programs costs, and enforcement costs of our present system are enormous.

Anybody know a good, impartial, AI program to work out a solid approach for us?

  10. Hello BeautifulStranger,

It will work, I am black, I know what my people need.

Set it to 10 years if that makes you feel better.

10 years no arrest, and $50K to $100K in my pocket, I will be the MOST law following, happy to go to work and nicest person you ever met.

And so would all other black people.

This will make white and black people happy. you get safer streets, we stop our damn complaining about being poor.
