To be fair back in the 80s when this photo was taken — at least 13 members of the state legislature in neighboring state North Carolina were KKK members (all Democrats) — so the future Democratic governor dressing up in KKK garb was common at the time.

  3. Interesting. Maybe he can use that to help explain his situation.

"Lots of dems office holders were KKK members in Virginia and North Carolina."

That should be a winner for the dems.

"Hey, it's just a KKK outfit. It is not as though it is a MAGA hat"

Another winning excuse. He might want to tidy it up a bit before taking it out on the road.

I wonder how much slack they would give Kavanaugh for having goofy shiite in his yearbook long ago? I think we know. and Dr. Babykiller was in his late 20's at the time, I believe. or something like that. Oh, that's right. In the new America you are still a child until you are 42.

Virginia House Democrats Call For Gov. Ralph Northam’s Resignation

“Though it brings us no joy to do so, we must call for Governor Northam’s resignation.”

Pressure is mounting on Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam to resign, with his state’s House Democratic Caucus urging him to step down following revelations he appeared in a racist photo of a man in blackface next to another individual in a Ku Klux Klan outfit.

The image was found in a 1984 medical school yearbook and has politicians across the country demanding Northam step down from his post.
In a statement Friday, Virginia House Democrats said they were “deeply saddened by the news” and “are no longer confident in the Governor’s representation of Virginians.”

“Though it brings us no joy to do so, we must call for Governor Northam’s resignation.”

  6. Too remain consistent I don't really care about the picture or the outfit. We should not be cherry picking stuff from the past, especially stupid stuff we've done as younger people, and then using what are very new standards of PC judgment to skewer a person today.
What he said about late term abortion a week ago is a problem for me. What he wore at some fucking party 30 years ago...couldn't care less. Lets focus on the shit that matters, shall we?

  7. I most definitely agree with what you said, on both counts, the years-ago stuff, and the infanticide issue.

Having said that I do believe that a candidate/office holder can conduct themselves in current times in a duplicitous, two-faced, self-righteous manner where they are properly held to account for themselves after having spent so much effort- in current times- to hunt down others and destroy them for alleged moral crimes that they themselves are guilty of.

Northam never, ever missed a chance to call his opponent a racist, to run ads showing him as a racist, to promote himself as always having been joined at the hip with black issues, so on and so forth. He ran an ugly, ugly campaign attempting to smear whitey as racist and how he was going to be the moral savior of everyone in these times when white, racist, republicans want to put y'all back in chains as Biden would say. So I have no desire to crucify a guy for college years improprieties but neither is this Northrup clown entitled to run around leading the charge that says that everyone except he and his lefty ilk are racists coming from a whitey racist background and they are coming for your kids if you are a minority. He is the one doing KKK scenarios in his youth, not me. And he is the one who is killing live born babies in modern times not me so to be out there on the campaign trial running ads about how you need to hide the children if a republican is elected if fucking absurd.

So I am fully in favor of holding his feet fully to the fire but because of how he was conducted himself in current times. And that is pretty fucking disgusting. I feel the same way about all these Kamala Harris, Corey Booker clowns. I had zero, zero interest in going back in finding shit from their college years past. But they have conducted themselves recently- especially in regard to Kavanaugh- where their shiite doesnt stink but everything a republican does is evil. So everything is fair game on them. Everything now. A little bit of humility on their part or Northram's part would have served them well. But no, it has been a constant, constant grind by Northam, Harris, etc. that they are morality superior at all times and were elected to be the moral saviors for this society. Fine, just better hope no shit on you comes up then. Not working out well for the Guv this week. And in regard to Booker, Harris, etc. I want to examine every part of their background and bring them down. If they had said "we all do stupid stuff when we are young, so we should not be leaning over backwards to destroy people for being young and stupid" then there is zero chance that I would feel that way. But no, they are the jackbooted moral police in DC who think it is their role to destroy others for moral crimes real and fake. Can't wait to see karma catch up with them as it did for the governor.

Typical ad from the governor's campaign or his lefty ilky working to elect him- below. Wouldn't if have been nice if that picture of the guv had been available to run during the campaign. Good job there at the RNC helping to do basic, basic opposition research for republican candidates. Not. IDIOTS ALL OF THEM.

  9. Very true and extremely well presented. I don't really judge people too harshly for who they are, i judge them for who they pretend not to be.
