In the US where over 40% of the population are obese Overweight people think they a good normal, ideal weight. And people who are really a normal weight in this case, 135 to 185, are looked on as underweight , as posters on this thread have demonstrated.
From what I remember NY was having the worst problems, not sure how long ago. Now it is looking good. Florida will do the same.
The average BMI of the top male olympic gymnasts is coincidentally around 22.5, i.e. the most ideal BMI. I know that probably not their walking around weight. But it does demonstrate what the ideal is.
Except Florida is not following New York's example. They reopened before they should have and are now unfortunately paying the piper. All to please Chumpie and his narcissistic idiocy.
It isn't total BS, but it doesn't account for muscle mass. Most professional athletes are overweight by its metrics.
Is this guy overweight? What is the concensus, im not totally sure, if i saw him on the street i would say he looks overweight even though he clearly has a lot of muscle mass.
He has a belly but he won't have much endo-fat. Its the visceral fat around the organs that is dangerous. Some skinny people are walking heart-attacks, some very fat people keep it all on the outside.
yes... he looks like he is carrying a little more fat than ideal. But, he also looks very strong and is probably in great cardio shape too. He just eats a lot of calories and probably uses that weight to snap it over that invisible line that some power athletes use to accelerate their movement of objects or people. In his case to put the shot.
