This is probably where all of this ends up, missiles flying over Taipei… Im trying to remember the last time China actually took direct military action against another country. Not really sure here…
You would think that the Chinese would remember what happens when you mess with Japan. One is a society formed from a history of slavery and servitude. The other is a society formed from their feudal warrior history. Nothing is scarier to a fighter pilot than the thought of a capable Japanese pilot in an F-22 Raptor. The Japanese are polite... up to a point after which they are *savage*. Japan has interesting breeder reactors for "experimental purposes" that have been in full operation for decades. Those reactors make plutonium. That is all they do. Gee I wonder what they do with all of that plutonium?
JAPAN DROPS BUBONIC PLAGUE BOMBS OVER NINGBO CHINA The Kaimingjie germ weapon attack consisted of corn and cloth infested with fleas. These fleas, infected with cholera and the bubonic plague, were airdropped over the area of Ningbo on October 27, 1940. Rats would be infected with these fleas; the fleas would then move on and find human hosts.
One of the fiercest modern times (1904-06ish) examples of Japan's warrior class/cast on full display was the Russo-Japanese War which involved a dispute over land in Manchuria and the Korean Penisula. Maybe some other stuff. Can't remember. Westerners don't know much about it because it did not involve Western Europeans or Americans and Russia wrote it out of its history books and most definitely is not anxious to talk about it because Japan beat the piss out of them. Showed them no mercy whatsoever. Of late, I have heard many times that Russians are the army that fended off Napoleon and the Germans so they have never lost, and that kind of talk. Really? They were beat in AFG and the Japanese outfight defeated them outright in the Russo-Japanese war. Eventually the Americans mediated a peace settlement. I think T. Roosevelt got a Nobel Peace Prize for doing so. There were some parallels to the Ukraine War in the sense that the Russians invaded forcefully with a false sense of superiority over the asian inferiors. But the Japanese fought back hard in skirmish after skirmish and went on the offensive too. Russia got nowhere and eventually caved. At the time it was considered a major humiliation because it was the first time in modern history that a western country had been defeated by an Asian country. Deep shame for Russia. As I said, you will not hear Vlad talking about it. There was even a world class dangerous clown show in that war, almost starting a war with Britain. We would expect no less from Russia. Some Ruskie Navy ships were on their way sailing down past Britain to go into the Mediterranean and through the canal over to join the fight. Russian intelligence told them that Japanese Navy ships could also be the area. The Russian Navy was on alert and when they saw the Japanese Navy ships they opened fire, sinking ships, killing some sailors etc. SMALL PROBLEM THOUGH. The Japanese Navy ships were actually a British fishing fleet. Did not go over well with the Brits. Not at all. Long winded way of joining in on the assertion that the Japanese are genetically wired to go on the offensive. Don't try to do cruel stuff on them either because they do cruel very well too. They go into war to take care of bidness. China and Russia should keep that in mind. Because of Nanking, the Chinese definitely don't need a reminder. The Russians probably never heard of the Russo- Japanese war. Putin would be a little sensitive on the topic and probably adjusted the history books as needed. Frigging idiots. Ruskies gotta rusk I guess. The Dogger Bank Incident The Dogger Bank Incident (also known as the North Sea Incident or the Russian Outrange) took place in 1904. Russia was at war with Japan and sent a fleet of warships to Asia to battle the Japanese. When these vessels were passing through British waters a number of Russian warships mistook British trawlers for Japanese torpedo boats and fired on them. The incident came close to sparking a war between Britain and Russia. https://britishseafishing.co.uk/the-dogger-bank-incident/
I see the Pelosi is/was at the DMZ in Korea of late. Along with Taiwan. Who the hell appointed her as Secretary of State?????????????? Reckless, reckless, reckless self-promoting on her part for her legacy or book deal or whatever. The dems would like to argue that it is a dem versus republican thing but she went to China AGAINST the advice of a sitting dem President and the against the wishes of the dem administration's Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense because "hey, I am leaving after the midterms and my book is coming out and my legacy is important and if I cause WW3 with China that is for other people to worry about." She is also trying to counter the charges that dems are weak on China so help lessen the mid-term slaughter. But it is the same issue. She appointed herself Secretary of State and Defense and headed out to do some political and personal promotion. Did not even seek consultation or approval from the President or her party - let alone seek bipartisan participation on the trip as is the norm when overseas. And yes, the lefty media is having fun with the idea that conservatives are divided on her trip but it is a stupid argument they are making. One can easily be against her self-promotion and getting dangerously ahead of the State Department and Defense, and also believe that once you are into that bind you cannot let China back you down.
