Hello, new to trading. working on establishing a foundation for myself. Where do I go to start papertrading so that I may get my feet wet before I actually start using money so that I may get a better working knowledge of some strategies. Thanks.
ALL brokers have paper trading accounts. Pick your favorite broker, then find out if they have the software you want. Do not go with IB. They have weird bizarre software.
Came across this in my reading. Don't know if his is any good. Give a look! Ya nevah know... http://simulator.investopedia.com/
My friend and I had a friendly wager going on who could double 100K the fastest paper trading. We went with Investopedia. The site is slow as all getout, and the results are delayed, plus you cannot do complicated option strategies (last time I checked). I'd recommend TOS, you get real time data, with alot of useful tools. BTW, I won our contest. It was slow as hell just doing stocks, so I put it all in SBUX puts ahead of earnings. I was sitting pretty after that
