MB is no place for an active trader. Depending on your acct size you can probably negotiate overnight interest w/ most firms.
IB pays interest on the entire balance, not just the part under $10,000, if you invest free cash by shorting EFPs. The amount paid for shorting EFPs is greater than the interest any broker will pay on cash.
