RS...I also forgot about the taxes NY applies on STATE an CITY income taxes....In fact, they even tax NJ residents who work in their state!!!,....but that is why I am in Florida too...but here is the original point....on the one hand Bung and some others complain about wnting to be left alone and to have no infringements on your individual freedom.......then in another post, you say " you don't have to fly " "you don't have to live in this neighbor hooD" ect.....which is it? seems to me you only want certain freedoms when they apply to your personal situation, otherwise the attitude is almost socialistic where you force others to NOT FLY, NOT DRIVE CERTAIN CARS, NOT VACATION, NOT LIVE WHERE WE WANT TO....On the other hand I do agree with you on the local taxes....I pay about 4k a year in property tax that goes to the schools and utilities.......why then are there all these signs in florida for LOTTO and SALES TAX increases to "help the schools"???????
