Hi all, I have been studying the markets for the last 4 years and trading pretty lightly for 2. I am 28 years old without a college degree and very badly wanting to make trading/working in the markets my career of choice full time since it has turned into a passion of mine. Any suggestions on what I should do to become a trader for a firm? Go to a prop firm first? Should I obtain my series 7 on my own first? Thanks for all comments , very much appreciated.
most prop firms will sponsor you to take the series 7 (even though the cost is out of your pocket). get to a firm, trade small to start and learn as much as you can. Pete
stay away, the marke is dying. everyone becomes more greedy. this makes impossible for you to maitain your bottomline unless you want to be a contract killer. who wants to hire me? I'd give you a discount. But I will raise price later.
