Where is the S&P 500 going if it follows the path of 1929-1930

Comparing historical charts is a bad habit cause that's all it is, a chart. What about the fundametals ?

What about the fact that the US is crushing the world with technological innovation ? As time moves on, the world is gonna be more and more about technology. Whoever is the leader there is where the money's gonna be.

All the countries can't just have 30% yearly growth in stock prices, can they ? Someone's gotta pay up. Someones success always comes at the expense of someone elses, you are just not recognizing it because you are blinded by that great product that guy made.

It's pure and simple competition, the strongest will be the winner. Oversupply is going to be the problem of the future, so margins keep on dropping and competition keeps on getting crazier.

lol, our environment is already gone so crazy that you have governments (starting with Japan) actually paying private companies to get international competitive edges.

And you wonder why we have global trust issues and the rise of the Trumps...

Every article about the economy and pandemic this weekend has me thinking the markets open down 3% or more. I just cannot find any positive articles anywhere, every headline is worse than the next. It literally feels like this quarantine is going to last until June or July. How people will cope with this matter is beyond me. Most people are extroverted and need their playtime and company, this is going to send many people to breakdown. Stay strong because this looks like its far from being over.

Can someone ask @Baron for the "Dislike" button?

Dude, how the f*ck would you feel if somebody rooted for your kid to die? :fistbump: Man, you're really a douchbag.

I mean the FAANG’s of the world that hold the most of market cap.

I mean the innovations that will evetually replace all your mask making factories and cheap labor of china and the likes in general by 3d printings and robots in general.

I wont speculate over “when” but we are certainly moving towards this kind of future. There’ll definitely be obstacles and force majeures (and wars?) in the road ahead.

Sure, 10 cents an hour seems cheap today but it wont in the future. So, you keep on needing to lower your hourly rate.

  9. That's not what I'm saying. There will be more deaths from the lockdown than the virus but you guys don't care about those. And those will be able bodied YOUNG MEN who will kill themselves.

50% of men surveyed under 45 have had their hours cut or lost their job.

You fucking morons only see what's in front of you.

That ain't what you said above. These are what you wrote verbatim:

"Since the deaths aren't too bad, I am hopeful of a second wave that causes a second shut down because I love the trading."

"I have family members who have cancer. Death is a part of life. I will die, you will die, everyone will die."
