Where is the S&P 500 going if it follows the path of 1929-1930

No doubt a second wave coming, thanks to Chumpie thinking only about his re-election and not people's lives. Talking of relaxing protective measures - which is actually the purview of the 50 states governors. What does he know, what does he care. Only that the Dow needs to go back up and preferably make ATH's till election day.

  2. Oh the same guy who wisely shut down travel to China weeks early and was called a racist/xenophobe by the Left.
Can’t win with you TDS inflicted losers. Damned if he does damned if he doesn’t.

  3. Since the deaths aren't too bad, I am hopeful of a second wave that causes a second shut down because I love the trading.

  4. What a dbag thing to say.
The deaths “aren’t too bad” until it’s someone you care about

  5. I have family members who have cancer. Death is a part of life. I will die, you will die, everyone will die.

  6. No shit
But rooting for death from a pandemic so the market can stay more active is asinine

IMO, we are entering the lost decade or more. Boomer will die (thankfully) and the world will change. Grandpa’s stock picks, like oil have high floats and no buyers. As younger generations buy stocks, it has been proven time and time again that they are going green and away from old industries.

If we follow the past, laborers will have significantly more negotiating power over employers. Thus, the rich will lose power and money. Another potential effect, companies will be held accountable for their employees retirement and healthcare.

Right now, I’m hearing people say: Why should I work? I don’t trust my bank, I’m pulling money out -> similar to the 1930’s when people kept money in their beds or house walls.

These are exciting times and I hope society changes. People are being forced to homeschool their kids. I love it. Maybe America will develop family values again?

  8. Not what I said. I said I hope for a second shut down. Deaths may come, deaths come with Iraq war, did you trade that or not? Don't be a fucking pussy.

  9. My own family has seen a drastic improvement in kids happiness, to the upside. My son was already happy but he is now ecstatic homeschooling.
