Sheep wait for stale old data and chase whats already happened. Sheep get slaughtered. Real traders use their eyes and ears to make decisions on where the market is going and put their trust in themselves and their experience. Data and charts just help confirm your trade or give you a reason to reassess your position.

Now go ask mommy for a raise in your allowance day its prom season.

  3. Sheep? Who is sheep here?

Only fools keep what iffing themselves. What if this , What if that and latch on to various non existent.

Wild speculations about an oncoming recession and fears and nervous breakdowns lead down to this path of self destruction where stocks and charts are damaged beyond repair.

So what if a recession will come? Can't you manage your ass through it? Why do you lack so much confidence? Your government is already giving you free money, what else you think you deserve?

  4. Sheep? You is the sheep!
Housing, Banking, Airlines, Autos...all in recession...

Some of us deal with reality...other paper traders base their ideas (not trades, but ideas) on the notion that the government will bail them out...

    Who's the sheep?

  5. Trading is forward thinking not looking back at old data to confirm what price action has been saying all along.

How can you be a real trader (directional wise) when you ignore current price action?

    YOU ARE THE LAMB HERE!!!!!

You wait for old data. I look around ask questions, evaluate the situation and trade.

I'll manage just fine through a recession because I will be in front of it through forethought and sound decision making. You will be chasing it and your mom for your allowance. Go to school.

    To the thread creator:

Market moves in a very flexible way and will destroy everything that is rigid along the way on its path, while flexible things will stay alive. If you're not flexible enough to change your mind right now, then the only way to console yourself is to quit trading otherwise you will feel extremely bad by watching your account evaporating.
