Where is the PPT?

Kept hearing about PPT throughout end of last year. Where are they now? Seems more like BS talk to me.

 

We're in a bear market. PPT or not, what are they gonna do about it? There's no stopping this till it's run its coarse.

 

ppt = plunge protection team

some people believe that the government will prop up prices if the market plunges.

 

They ran out of money bailing out the financials. The treasury can't print out money fast enough to give to the ppt.

 

They left the building with Paulson.

 

PPT is where it's always been... nowhere.

 

They've got massive MIT-buy-orders in at Dow Jones 7000. Feel free to "test" it out.

 

You're right. There certainly is manipulation, but it's all been on the short side in recent years--and has nothing to do with the PPT.
