sounds like you need to go back to the drawing board with your strategy because you have not accounted for slippage. You're looking for technological solutions to solve the issue of slippage I account for slippage in my strategy hence I'm not interested in pestering IB with information that they will deem confidential.
If a difference of "a few milliseconds" is going to matter to you, you shouldn't be using an intermediary at all.
"IB is a retail broker" Not so much. I think you'll find that IB shares some fairly fancy infrastructure with the very non-retail end of things.
