MBT was my first ONLINE futures account. Prior to that, for me, it was pick up the phone and talk to a registered series 3 broker.

Global futures ***I THINK*** has become GFF Brokers... https://www.gffbrokers.com/
And a sponsor of ET.

    Island

Used it to avoid MM bs many moons ago

Datek started around 1996 with $9.99 commissions and catered to day traders with their streamer and level II and island routing

    Ameritrade bought Datek around 2002

  4. 15 years ago, MF global is a over250 years history company, it seems also bankrupted because of the world's fastest and largest crushing down in 1 second of EUR.CHF on 2015 1.15.

I started daytrading with Datek in '99, remember 9.99 commissions and 60-second order fill and fractions, ISLD ecn etc, used it with medved quotetracker,

TV ads with truck drivers owning tropical islands, ah the good old days lol

$5 is peanuts compared to how much they charged before the Internet. I guess you were just a baby back then. :D
